Vectr7 is an appointed representative of Midmar Capital LLP, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, in respect of UK investment advisory or arranging activities.

Whether you are a company looking for investment, an investor or potential investor, a portfolio company, an individual looking for employment, an employee or former employee, or a business contact we may collect and process information as described below.

  • If you are an investor or potential investor of the Fund we may collect and hold the following information: name; contact information including address, email address, and phone number; personal identity number; details of your professional qualifications; gender; birthdate; bank account details; tax identification number; nationality; financial status and dealings; copies of identify documents; photographs (from identify documents); information from background checks to complete checks on anti-money laundering, KYC, sanction obligations, political affiliates, and criminal convictions; and any other information gathered from background checks.

  • If you are a management team or team related to a transaction or potential transaction with the Fund, we may collect and hold the following information: name, contact information including address, email address, and phone number; personal identity number; details of your professional qualifications; information on employment history; CV; financial status and dealings; gender; birthdate; bank account details; nationality; copies of identify documents; photographs (from identity documents); information from background checks to complete checks on anti-money laundering, KYC, sanction obligations, political affiliates and criminal convictions; information from any other due diligence carried out; and any other information you provide us.

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • In relation to a potential investment transaction

  • In relation to investing in any Funds

  • In relation to an employment opportunity with Vectr7

  • In relation to other business relationships

  • When you visit our website

  • In relation to due diligence and background checks

We may collect personal information by writing, telephone, email or in direct meetings.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Third parties in relation to due diligence and background checks

  • Third parties through an introduction for a meeting in relation to an investment, investor, or other business relationships

Your information is securely stored. We will hold personal information for as long as is required to fulfil the purposes the information was collected for including any legal or reporting requirements. We do not retain personal information for longer than necessary.

We may need to hold personal information for legal reasons. In this case we will hold the information for 5 years. After that all personal information will be removed from all files. 

Vectr7 complies with all data protection and privacy laws. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Vectr7 will not have any obligations with respect to handling personal information other than those mandated by law in the relevant country.

Personal data may be transferred out of the UK and may be processed by third party data processors outside of the UK. If we transfer data to any other countries, we will ensure your personal data is protected to the same standards as if it was processed within the UK.
